Don Stuart scheduled to speak at National Association of Conservation Districts Annual Meeting

Don has been asked to present on the topic of his new book: Barnyards and Birkenstocks: Why Farmers and Environmentalists Need Each Other, at the Annual Meeting of the National Association of Conservation Districts in New Orleans to be held February 1-3, 2015.  Don will present on Monday, February 2 from 2:30-3:30 p.m.  The NACD Conference program is available on line here.

Don to make presentations on farmer-environmentalist cooperation at American Farmland Trust National Conference

Don is scheduled to speak on farmer-environmentalist cooperation at the American Farmland Trust National Conference on Farmland Food and Livable Communities in Lexington KY, October 20-22, 2014.  Don’s presentation are scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2014 from 4:45-6:00 p.m. Additionally, on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Don will present on the economics of farmland loss and conservation.
